Chad is the conference services leader and oversees Blair Center conference facility and Westfield Inn at the Westfield Insurance home office campus in Westfield Center, Ohio. He has 14 years of hospitality industry experience in corporate and private restaurants, conference centers, event planning and hotel/restaurant management. Chad is a certified trainer for TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS), a skills-based training program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking and drunk driving.
As a regular At Your Service contributor, Chad focuses on wine, employee training and customer service topics that relate to the Blair Center.
Mark is the group hospitality operations leader at Westfield and oversees a variety of businesses owned by Westfield Group. In addition to corporate dining and event planning operations, Mark is responsible for the Westfield Country Club, a 36-hole private golf facility, the 64 room Westfield Inn, and 360-seat Blair Conference Center.
A graduate from the University of Kentucky, he joined Westfield Group in 1996 and has held several positions with the company, including food and beverage manager, sales and marketing director and club general manager.Mark is active in the hospitality-oriented associations of Golf Course Owners, Club Managers, Golf Course Superintendents, National Institute of Golf Management and National Restaurant Association. Regionally, he serves on the Board for the Play Golf Ohio organization and has been a regular speaker/presenter for the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation.
Mark is a contributor for both At Your Service and Westfield Greens, and generally writes about golf-related topics, hospitality management and risk factors for businesses.
Kris is the business development leader for corporate hospitality at Westfield Insurance. She develops and implements marketing plans for Westfield Country Club, Blair Conference Center, corporate dining and Westfield Inn. Her day-to-day operational responsibilities include planning and management for corporate dining at the headquarters in Westfield Center, as well as event planning, audio-visual services and training. She has worked at Westfield for seven years, and has expertise in event planning and operations management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Toledo in 1986. Kris loves food, people and cooking.

Mark is the natural resource leader at Westfield Group Country Club and has worked in various positions at Westfield for nearly 22 years. He is responsible for managing human, financial, natural and mechanical resources associated with golf course and clubhouse grounds operation at Westfield Group Country Club. His professional experience includes working as the assistant superintendent at Hyde Park Golf and Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio, and at Winding Hollow Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. He has held numerous positions at Westfield Group Country Club, including assistant superintendent, superintendent, club manager, general manager and superintendent of natural resources.
Mark earned his associate’s degree in applied science and turfgrass management, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and agronomy, from The Ohio State University. He was also awarded the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Scholarship and Trans Mississippi Golf Association Scholarship.
Mark has served as a board member of the Northern Ohio Superintendent’s Association and the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, and has participated in the Governmental Relations Committee of the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America and the Strategic Communications Committee for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He is currently an instructor for the National Institute of Golf Management, Curriculum Advisory Committee Chairman for the OSU/ATI Turfgrass Management Program, and serves on the Horticulture Curriculum Advisory Committee for Wayne Country Career Center.

Autumn is the hospitality operations revenue center’s leader for Westfield Group. Autumn has general management responsibility for the Westfield Group Country Club, the Blair Conference Center and Westfield Inn. She joined Westfield in 2007, and has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 15 years at the largest public golf facility in Metropolitan Detroit. Autumn received her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and master’s degree in hospitality business from Michigan State University. She is a member of the Club Managers Association of America. In her free time, she enjoys golf, reading and paddlesports.
As an author for At Your Service, Autumn covers a range of topics, including employee training, country club operations and customer service.
Ruth is the business sector manager of the Research and Development team at Westfield Insurance, and is responsible for development and continued profitability of targeted marketed segments, including hospitality. Ruth has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry working as an insurance commercial underwriter. Prior to beginning her insurance career, she worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in business management and master’s degree in business administration from Malone College. Ruth also earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. Ruth is a CPCU, CIC, ARM and AU.
Drawing from her legal background, Ruth focuses on topics related to risk management, safety issues and liability for hospitality operations.
Anthony is the Chef of the new "Biddle's" restaurant and contributes to all locations on the Westfield campus. He is in charge of scheduling, managing costs, developing menus, training kitchen employees, ordering, monitoring inventory and creating recipes. Anthony has 11 years in the hospitality industry and has developed his expertise in food preparations and cooking, kitchen operations and food safety.
Prior to joining Westfield’s hospitality management team, he worked for nine years in the hospitality industry as a Certified Culinarian and earned his ServSafe Food Safety certification. He holds significant memberships to the American Culinary Federation, and is a guest speaker for the University of Akron. Anthony also competed in the ice carving competition and American Culinary Federation (ACF) competitions.

Chad is the head PGA golf professional at Westfield Group Country Club, and has been a golf professional since 1979. He was elected to PGA membership in 1983 and accepted the position at Westfield Group Country Club in June of 1985. He has been active on the Northern Ohio PGA (NOPGA) Board since 2001. When he was appointed to the board, he held the positions of apprentice committee chairman, secretary, vice president, and now president, of the NOPGA since 2009.
Chad has earned a number of professional awards in his career, including: Junior Leader of the Year for NOPGA in 2001 and 2004, 2005 NOPGA Golf Professional of the Year, 2006 NOPGA Bill Strausbaugh award and the 2007 NOPGA Horton Smith award.

Sara is the corporate event planning leader in Westfield Insurance’s Corporate Hospitality Operations department. She facilitates the planning and execution of events at Westfield Insurance for its agents, customers and employees. Sara has worked in the hospitality industry and specifically in event planning for 10 years. As a 10-year veteran at Westfield, she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Kent State University in 2003.
Sara writes about event planning details, considerations and coordination for various occasions.
Christine Warner, CPS
Christine is the executive assistant of corporate hospitality operations at Westfield Group. She provides administrative support to the group hospitality operations leader and business development leader, and creates the promotional materials for facilities within the department.
Christine has been at Westfield for seven years. Prior to joining Westfield, she worked in administrative services for 25 years in various industries, such as education and manufacturing. Christine earned her associate’s degree in business/office administration from Stark State College of Technology in 1991, and graduated from Lake High School in 1988. Christine earned a Certified Professional Secretary rating in 1991 and was re-certified in 1997, 2004, 2009. She has been a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) since 1992, and joined the Medina County Chapter in 2003.
